Lucerne - Lugano 
The William Tell Express links two of Switzerland's most attractive regions: Central Switzerland and Ticino. It starts with a delightful cruise aboard a vintage paddle steamer from Lucerne to Flüelen. It is then on to the Italian-speaking part with its Mediterranean climate, palm trees and glittering blue lakes. An unforgettable journey for your summer holidays in Switzerland.

 Programme:

Day 1: Arrival
Flight or rail from the UK to Switzerland and rail transfer to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 2: Free Day
Take advantage of the included Swiss Card and enjoy one of the many top excursions in the area. Visit Mount Pilatus or Mount Rigi - both excursions offering 50% off with your Swiss Card. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 3: William Tell Express
Board the historic William Tell Express steamer for the cruise of Flüelen. A 2-course lunch is included and served on board. In Flüelen walk the short distance to the train station and take your seats in the 1st class panorama carriage. Change in Bellinzona to continue your journey to Lugano. Overnight in Lugano.
Day 4: Free day
Enjoy the Mediterranean atmosphere, stroll along the lakeside promenade or take a trip to one of Lugano's two 'house mountains' which offer great views of Lugano and the lake. Overnight in Lugano. 
Day 5: Departure
Rail transfer to Zürich and return journey to the UK.
