Programme
| Day 1: | Arrival London to Paris by Eurostar, with a champagne lunch at your first class seat, then by TGV, first class, to Interlaken and 4-star Hotel Metropole with de-luxe rooms. |
| Day 2: | Day at leisure A free day to unwind in idyllic Interlaken. Or travel the scenic narrow-gauge railways, or cruise to pretty alpine villages - at no additonal cost; your Tour Manager will happily advise you. If it is a clear day, take the Jungfrau Mountain Railway to the 'Top of Europe' at a discounted rate, using your first class Swiss Rail pass. |
| Day 3: | Excursion to Zermatt Utilising the brand new rail route we take a day excursion to the ski resort of Zermatt, dwarfed by the mighty Matterhorn. Relax in this car-free town as horse sleighs jingle along the (we hope) snow covered streets of shops and traditional chalets. |
| Day 4: | Exursion to Schilthorn A truly amazing ascent by narrow-gauge railway and cable-saloon to enjoy a champagne lunch in the Piz Gloria revolving restaurant atop the Schilthorn - panoramic location of the James Bond film 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. |
| Day 5: | Glacier Express to Davos With luggage transported seperately, we take the first class panoramic train over the Lötschberg Pass to Brig, boarding the world famous Glacier Express to enjoy lunch in first class comfort as awe-inspiring mountain scenery passes the window. Our destination is the ski resort of Davos (popular with royalty, the rich and the celebrated) and the lovely Arabella Sheraton Hotel Seehof with superior rooms. |
| Day 6: | Day at leisure A free day in Davos or take another spectacular journey at no additional cost with your Swiss Rail pass to the alpine health resort of Arosa, wonderfully situated atop a beautiful valley. An option for the brave: the adrenalin rush of an incredible 5 kilometre toboggan run! |
| Day 7: | Excursion by Bernina Express A breathtaking winter-wonderland journey aboard the Bernina Express into Italy, travesing lofty viaducts and spiralling curves with incredible vistas from our first class panoramic carriage. |
| Day 8: | Departure We head homeward, first class, via Basel and Zurich to Paris and London. A champagne evening meal aboard Eurostar concludes this sensational holiday. |

Hotel Metropole, Interlaken
A modern 4 star hotel in central Interlaken. Bedrooms have bath or shower, hair-dryer, cable TV, radio, phone, safe and mini-bar. The hotel’s restaurant Bellini specialises in Swiss cuisine, whilst the 18th floor Top O’ Met restaurant offers spectacular mountain views.
Arabella Sheraton Hotel Seehof, Davos
A stunning 4 star hotel, elegant and charming, features three restaurants, two bars, billiard room, library and historical rom with open fire. The hotel spa offers sauna, fitness room, rasul bath, soft pack beds, beauty parlour and massage service.
