The charming village of Saas Fee in the Canton Valais is surrounded by impressive mountain peaks, most notably the Dom which is the highest mountain in Switzerland. The picturesque village has retained a typical chalet-style appearance and is completely car-free. The only forms of transport are horse drawn carriages and small electric vehicles.
