Spend your Switzerland ski holidays in Zermatt: Zermatt is surrounded by some of Europe's highest mountains, the Dom, the Monte Rosa and of course the famous Matterhorn, and has become one of the premier ski resorts for a ski holiday in Switzerland. There are over 183km of pistes, excellent snow conditions and one of the longest ski season in the Alps.
 
The highest ski run offers skiing from an incredible 3,820m and all pistes are easily accessible thanks to an extensive lift system of mountain railways, cable cars, gondolas, funiculars, and chair and drag lifts. The gentle slopes at Sunegga or the wide, open runs around Gornergrat are just perfect for beginners. All three ski areas have many intermediate red and blue runs and skiing is possible back down to Zermatt. There is a huge selection of challenging runs for advanced skiers and snowboarders in the Stockhorn and Schwarzsee areas, guided off-piste skiing, heli-sking and the Triftij, one of the longest and most difficult mogul runs in Europe.
