Day 3: We take the postal bus up to the ‘Ofen Pass’. An almost level path leads us on to the Minieras, the old mines where ore was once extracted in a complicated process.
Day 4: Today we walk directly from Valchava into the romantic tributary valley of Val Vau, on rambling paths and unmade tracks up to around 1800m above sea level.
