Zürich boasts a huge choice of Christmas markets across the city, each unique. As well as picking up great gifts from wooden chalets, visitors can enjoy ice skating, sample tasty treats, warm up with a mug of Glühwein and more! The Singing Christmas Tree is a particular highlight as is the Lichterschwimmen - hundreds of floating candles are launched down the river on 22nd December.

Museum Rietberg

Swiss National Museum - Landesmuseum

The Kunsthaus
The Kunsthaus Zürich (Musuem of Fine Art) houses the most important collection of modern art in Zürich. International works of significance include many paintings by Edvard Munch, Van Gogh, Picasso and leading Expressionists. There is also a significant group of works by Claude Monet and Marc Chagall.
