Built around a leisurely journey through Switzerland you will be visiting a watchmaking company, have a guided tour around a 16th century clock tower, visit a watch museum but also have time for some sightseeing, a lake cruise and an excursion to Queen of the Mountains - Mount Rigi.

Itinerary

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN LA CHAUX-DE-FONDS
Rail transfer to La Chaux-de-Fonds and afternoon at leisure. The town is at the heart of the watchmaking industry and is together, with neighbouring Le Locle, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The town can easily be explored by foot. Overnight in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

DAY 2 - WATCH MANUFACTURER CORUM
After breakfast make your way to the Corum workshops to attend the exclusive Haute Horlogerie workshops of this prestigious brand.  In the afternoon a short rail transfer brings you to Biel where you can visit the Omega Watch Museum. Return by rail to La Chaux-de-Fonds. Overnight in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

DAY 3 - BERN CLOCK TOWER
Breakfast at your hotel and morning transfer by rail to Bern. Check-in to your hotel and walk to the Tourist Office to join the afternoon guided tour of Bern's famous clock tower - the Zytglogge. An additional highlight is the fantastic view over the rooftops and alleyways of the historic city centre. Evening at leisure and overnight in Bern.

DAY 4 - BERN & TRANSFER TO LUCERNE
Use the morning to explore the medieval city centre with its many fountains, narrow streets and historic towers. In the afternoon travel by rail via Langenau to Lucerne, Switzerland's most popular destination. Enjoy the lakeside setting, laidback atmosphere, street cafes and restaurants in this pretty town. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 5 - WATCHES, CHOCOLATE & MOUNTAIN PEAKS
After breakfast experience live watchmaking at the house of Chronoswiss, the famous Swiss watch brand located in Lucerne. Continue to the Swiss Museum of Transport to learn about the origin and production of chocolate in the Swiss Chocolate Adventure. Afterwards relax on a lake cruise across Lake Lucerne before taking the mountain railway up to Mount Rigi for spectacular views across Central Switzerland. A 30 minute walk will take you to the cheese farm and restaurant Chäserenholz. Return to the lake shore by cable car down to Weggis and take the boat back to Lucerne. Overnight in Lucerne.

DAY 6 - DEPARTURE
Departure by rail transfer to airport or Swiss border.
